Screening Process

1. There is a screening process and appropriate financial and other documents are required to be provided.
2. If the child meets the basic requirements, a diagnostic visit will be scheduled.  This means a preliminary acceptance
into the Program.  Final acceptance will be made on a case by case basis by and at the sole discretion of Young Tahoe Smiles, and not
until after the initial diagnostic visit.  As previously stated, if the anticipated costs of a child's case are deemed to be too
costly, this may be cause for denial.

3. Young Tahoe Smiles will make the determination as to what specific treatment each child may receive and the maximum treatment that
will be allotted to each individual case.

4. Since the Program's funding is limited, not all cases can be accepted.  Some may have to be declined if the anticipated
    costs are too high.

5. Services may be provided to qualifying children as long as the Program has the funds to do so.

6. Compliance with dental hygiene at home, at a level deemed acceptable by the Program, will be required.

7. Those dental services provided by the Program are done through and at High Sierra Dental Care, 1060 Ski Run Blvd, South Lake Tahoe, CA  96150.  530-541-7040.
